Vermont Hunting Excursion

The green mountain state. I've been hunting here since is was 14.  I know these woods like the back of my hand, well most of it. I remember when i was young, truck after truck would drive by my grandparents house with a deer in the back, every day. So far one deer has been taken and the season is half over.  I've seen about 10 or so does but no buck yet. Vermont seriously needs to change there deer management plan or in a few years there won't be any. My grandfather remember when they used to take 20 to 25 thousand a year, last year 4 thousand were taken. Stop shooting the does, its not rocket science.  I see more Mass holes than deer. I will update more on the hunt later.
